To celebrate the release of Wild, Wicked & Wanton: 101 Ways to Love Like you're in a Romance Novel, Christie and Faye are holding a contest for readers. If you've read WWW, you read about poor Jayne's many romantic disasters, how she coped, and the insight she gained from the experience. So now it's your turn. In 250 words or less, tell us about the craziest, zaniest or worst romantic disaster you've ever had and what you learned from the experience. One entry will be drawn at random and will win the following: $50 Visa gift card (use it to pamper yourself with a pedicure/manicure/facial), a $10 gift card at Victoria's Secret (treat yourself!), a massage oil set (treat you and your special someone), a copy of Christie's latest romance novel, some chocolate and more.
To enter, copy/paste your essay into the Contact Us form. Be sure to include your email address, your name and mailing address. One entry per person, please. Contest runs from June 18 through August 31st. No purchase necessary and void where prohibited.
Have you ever had to pitch your manuscript to an editor or agent? If so, you’ll probably relate to Christie and Faye’s latest humor-filled video on How To Make The Perfect Pitch (Without Striking Out.)
Christie and Faye recently mailed in the completed manuscript for Wild, Wicked and Wanton: 101 Ways to Love Like You’re In a Romance Novel. The book is a humor-filled self-help/relationship book about what a woman can learn about love from, well, reading romance novels. It will be published in the winter of 2010. Look for more info on the book as it develops.
